MIAMI (AP) – As it continues to rebuild its global network, Air Canada (AC) has announced an extension of service to many key South American destinations from its Toronto and Montreal hubs.

Service to So Paulo, Brazil, will commence on December 8 with four weekly flights year-round, and on December 6, service to Brazil's financial center will increase to daily flights. So Paulo will be served by Air Canada's flagship Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

Montreal to Bogotá, Colombia, flights will restart on December 2 with three weekly flights, while Toronto to Bogotá flights will increase to four weekly flights on November 7. An Airbus A330-300 will handle both trips. Customers travelling into Bogotá can connect with Star Alliance partner Avianca (AV) for simple connections throughout Colombia and South America.

Air Canada continues to offer flights from Buenos Aires, Argentina, to either Toronto or Montreal via San Paulo. Flights to Argentina are still awaiting official approval, despite the fact that the country has indicated that it will reopen to international travelers on November 1. In January 2022, Air Canada will reintroduce three weekly flights between Toronto and Santiago, Chile, adding another key South American destination to its network.
